“When God’s people are in need, be ready to help them. Always be eager to practice hospitality.” — Romans 12:13

JOY Club craftsFor 136 years, LeRoy Covenant Church has served the community. For 43 continuous years, we have operated J.O.Y. Club, the area’s only weekly community after-school program. Today, we are expanding that legacy of care through the LeRoy Covenant Cares Program — and we need your help.

LeRoy Covenant Cares was launched through a grant from our denomination to provide immediate, practical support to local families facing financial hardship. We offer assistance ranging from $500 to $2,000 per family to help with urgent needs such as:

    • Mortgage or rent payments to prevent foreclosure or eviction
    • Utility assistance
    • Transportation insecurity
    • Home safety and accessibility repairs

Already, we have helped a hardworking local family with two employed parents who had fallen behind on their mortgage and were facing foreclosure. Because of this program, they were able to remain in their home. But the need is greater than our current funding.

That is why we are asking you to make a financial investment in LeRoy Covenant Cares. Your gift will directly support local families during seasons of crisis, offering not only financial relief but dignity, stability, and hope.

This program is designed to multiply generosity. Recipients are invited to “pay it forward” by repaying a portion of their assistance—interest-free and at an affordable amount—so future families can also be helped. Your donation does not just help one family; it helps build a sustainable cycle of community care.

We invite you to make a tax-deductible contribution today. Together, we can ensure that when families in the area face hardship, they do not face it alone. Thank you for investing in the community we all love.
